RESOLUTION NO. 10-2015
HONORING COUNCILMEMBER THOMAS
WILLIAMS
WHEREAS, the Mayor, Town Council, Town Staff and the Collinsville
community as a whole has lost a valued member and citizen on June 5, 2015, with
the death of Councilmember Thomas Williams, and
WHEREAS, Councilmember Williams
was elected to the Town Council in 1992 and has faithfully served his community
for 23 years, and
WHEREAS, his devotion to his
community will forever have a profound effect on the people of Collinsville.
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the
Mayor and Town Council of the Town of Collinsville, Alabama that the Town of
Collinsville recognizes the achievements and contributions of Councilmember
Williams and expresses its appreciation and gratitude for those contributions.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that by
the death of Councilmember Thomas Williams, the Town of Collinsville has been
deprived of one of its outstanding Councilmembers and the community as a whole
deprived of a beloved and distinguished citizen.
