Quoting Coach Beckett

On White Plains

"It will be a tremendous challenge for our football team. White Plains does what good old fashion football teams do and thats run the football. They run the ball 95% of the time. I probably would too if I had a 315 and 285 pound tackles. The are extremely physical."

"They run a offense that you rarely see so it makes it difficult to stop. Heath Harmon and his staff do a great job. He's been apart of state championship staffs and had success at several schools."

On Senior Night

"We have a special group of seniors. One of my favorite groups ever. They come to work every day with a passion. They band together and are very tight knit. They never get in trouble, suspended extra. That's a tribute to how good they are as kids and how they've bought into what was asked of them."

On the Valley Head game

"We really had a average first half. Valley Head had a lot to do with that. They really took the game to us. Our body language was terrible and Valley Head fed off of that. After the game, I was asked what I said to the team at halftime. Many of our players are NBA fans. So I asked them, 'If LeBron James or Kobe Bryant were down 4 points at half, would they put their head down and have terrible body language or would they clap their hands and embrace the challenge. The second half, I thought we embraced the challenge and fought back."

On CJ, DeShawn and Edgar

"CJ Jones made some really good decisions throwing. DeShawn and Edgar both had 100+ yards catching and made big plays. They are all competitors in the highest since."
